Tandem Senior Living Advisors’ President Hoppy Sell will speak for the sixth time at this year’s national LeadingAge conference in Atlanta next week.

His session is entitled “Overcome Your Post-Pandemic Marketing Challenges” and is set for 3 – 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26. The session will draw on data from national and community-level resident surveys to illustrate pandemic-related marketing challenges and shed light on how communities can adapt their outreach to reach out to and build connections with prospective residents.

The pandemic brought about a fundamental shift in how older adults view senior living. These views will persist beyond the pandemic and could affect future occupancy and sales. Presenters in this session will guide attendees in creating a community identity that can become a springboard for building consumer trust. Participants will gain insight into marketing approaches that can be most successful in changing times.

This year’s LeadingAge conference in Atlanta is Sell’s 18th year attending the national conference. He also has spoken at least 20 times at state LeadingAge conferences and other partner events.

Sell said the national LeadingAge conference is important and a great event for the industry.

“The annual LeadingAge conference is the very definition of ‘community’ and provides fellowship with others who share common attitudes, interests and goals. Members and Professional Partners come together for four days to learn and share in ways that are beyond direct personal gain but rather to improve the lives of the seniors we all serve,” Sell said.

Holleran CEO Michele Holleran, President Christine Walley and Katelyn McCauley, director of senior living research, will be in booth #2535 and eager to meet LeadingAge attendees.
