Lisa has more than 30 years experience in the continuing care industry. She has worked with various senior living consultants preparing financial and/or market feasibility studies. Lisa served for 11 years as the Chief of Continuing Care for the Maryland Department of Aging. In this capacity, she was responsible for the regulation of Continuing Care Retirement Communities which included reviewing and analyzing financial statements, feasibility studies, and other related documents to ensure compliance with the continuing care laws and regulations. Lisa’s experience also includes auditing Continuing Care Retirement Communities with a regional accounting firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Penn State University.
